Coastal livelihoods

Coastal areas of Asia and Africa are under intense pressure from population increase, pollution and climate change. Our programme covers aspects as diverse as innovative aquaculture production systems, through worker rights in fisheries and aquaculture to mangrove tourism development. We are also working on jurisdictional initiatives that work with local producers, governments and civil society to address water quality, disease risks, community relations and investment opportunities.
